OH, HOW GOD LOVES US AND COMMANDS US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER
JOHN 3:16 – For God so loved the World that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God demonstrated His Love to us by sending Jesus.

I John 4:9-11 – In this is the Love of God was manifested towards us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Because God has demonstrated His unconditional Love to us, so should we demonstrate that Love one to another.

John 5:9-14 – As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you and that you joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Finally, as God has loved us and demonstrated that Love by sending Jesus; He commands us to love one another. Jesus said that He has called us His friends if we keep His commandments. And His greatest commandment is to walk in LOVE! Matthews 22: 35-40 – Then one of them a lawyer asked Him (Jesus) which is the greatest commandments in the law? Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all you mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.
And in closing:
EVERYTHING THAT GOD HAS COMMANDED US TO DO HENGES ON LOVE. Gal 5:6 says Even FAITH works by LOVE.
I Corinthians the 13th chapter is known as the Love Chapter of the Bible and the very last verse of that chapter says: NOW ABIDETH FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE!
